Na začátku hry se ocitnete ve vlčí smečce jakožto mládě a postupně se učíte vlčímu životu a členství ve smečce (to jest tutoriál), poté opustíte smečku a vydáte se do krajiny zkoumat místa a hledat si druha se kterým byste si založili smečku. Naučíte se zde jak žít na vlastní pěst, hledat potravu, bojovat o území s dalšími vlky a najití si partnera.
Až najdete svého druha budete muset najít vhodné místo pro založení smečky. (Pozor! Pokud jste již hráli a máte uloženou pozici bude tam i vaše smečka!) Následně se stanete rodiči a krmíte své potomky, učíte je a brání te je před predátory. Budete muset poté udělat dlouhou a nebezpečnou cestu na lepší území, kde vaše vlčata vyrostou a vy můžete mít na jaře další vrh.
K dispozici bude také multiplayer, kde plníte ty samé mise, ale můžete narazit i na jiné hráče, které můžete přijat do smečky.
You are a wolf ...
At the beginning of the game you will find yourself in a wolf pack as a cub and gradually learn about wolf's life and membership in the pack (ie tutorial), then leave the pack and head out into the countryside to explore the world and find a mate with whom you will establish a pack. You will learn how to live on your own, look for food, fight for territory with other wolves and find a partner.
When you find your mate, you'll have to find a suitable location for the establishment of the pack. (Caution: If you have already played and you saved position, your previous pack will be there!) Then you become a parent and feed your children, teach them and prevent predators from attacking them. You will need to go on a long and dangerous journey to a better area where your pups grow up and you can have another litter in the spring.
There will also be multiplayer, where you perform the same mission, but you can also come across other players that you can create a wolf pack with.
